What is a professional organizer?

A professional organizer enhances the lives of their clients by teaching them organizing skills and working with them to find an organizing system that fits their needs. A professional organizer's goal is for their clients to be able to use and maintain the system they put into place during their sessions.

Why should I hire a professional organizer?

Having a professional organizer come on board and help with your projects brings an extra set of eyes and hands to help you look at your situation in different ways and helps your project get done faster than if you would do it by yourself. A professional organizer will keep you focused on your goals and will keep you on task.

How long will it take to get organized?

It is difficult to estimate exactly how long each project will take. Each client is unique and brings to the project a very different set of skills, needs, and style. Things that would determine the length of the project would be how long it took to get it to the place it is today, how quickly the client can make decisions, how many distractions the client may have during a session, and if the client completes their “homework” between sessions.

What are your rates?

It depends. Every client has different circumstances and projects. One project may be done in three hours and another may take months. My fees are set on a client/project basis and determined after the first initial phone assessment.

I am willing to travel anywhere in Iowa and also work with clients in the St. Louis, Missouri area. A rate will be charged for mileage outside of a 45-mile radius of Belle Plaine, Iowa.

If a session needs to be changed or canceled, a 24-hour cancellation notice is required or a fee of $30 will be charged. This fee may be waived due to circumstances.

All rates are subject to change due to length and
type of project.

What is your organizing philosophy?

A person that is organized in a balanced way in all areas of their life has less stress, more peace and joy, is able to accomplish more in their day, and has more time to spend on the most important things in life...faith, family, and friends.
